The Commercial Manager is a key role within the 3DHB ICT department and reports to the Chief Technology Officer

The purpose of the role is to ensure high quality management of commercial relationships and contracts with third party vendor partners. 3DHB ICT is focussed on developing and maturing our existing relationships with key strategic partners. The emphasis is on ensuring maximum value is delivered to our hospital, corporate and community stakeholders.

The 3DHB ICT Strategy developed in 2020 is ambitious. In order to successfully deliver to the strategy we must partner with third parties to provide the additional capacity and capability that we require. The Commercial Manager will lead the establishment and ongoing maintenance of the commercial aspects of those relationships.

  • Significant experience in managing commercial relationships
  • Demonstrable experience in establishing commercial management frameworks
  • Previous experience working with senior stakeholders
  • A sound understanding and experience of the service delivery principles, business planning and risk management
  • Strong stakeholder and relationship management experience

(CCDHB) is located centrally in Wellington and has over 6,000 full-time equivalent staff, making us one of the major employers in the Wellington region. CCDHB operates two hospitals - Wellington Regional Hospital in Newtown and Kenepuru Hospital in Porirua - as well as the Kapiti Health Centre at Paraparaumu.

The (MHAIDS) spans three DHBs - Wairarapa, Hutt Valley and Capital and Coast DHB's and includes local, regional, and national services. The local MHAIDS services are provided from multiple sites within the 3DHB sub-region - greater Wellington, Hutt Valley and Wairarapa.
