- Full-time, permanent position based at National Office in Wellington.
- Driving Excellence: Manage the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of IT projects to deliver solutions that meet the requirements of the Department and our key stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Digital Workplace Systems Owner to ensure all IT projects within the Product Group meet their delivery objectives (Budget, Time, Quality).
- Support and Reporting: Assist the Programme Manager as needed in support of Product and Governance reporting activities.
- Risk Management: Take the lead in managing and maintaining our risk register to minimize exposure and risk across multiple projects.
- Transparency: Provide accurate, timely, and insightful project reports to regular forums as required.
- Resource Optimisation: Collaborate with internal and external providers to integrate and manage resources and tasks efficiently.
- Achieve Excellence: Manage the efforts of all resources to ensure projects deliver within specified constraints of time, cost, and quality while meeting business requirements.
- Experience managing both large- and small-scale projects including a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
- Experience in managing implementation and maintenance of Microsoft 365 solutions.
- Experience and involvement in the IT procurement and change management processes.
- Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills, including meeting and workshop facilitation experience.
- The ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical team members.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and negotiation experience, including the ability to influence and build consensus with a range of stakeholders.
