Become part of a connected, innovative, and supportive Nursing Education Community of Practice, offering mentorship for your role and regular professional development forums for educators.Are you passionate about nursing, dedicated to excellence in education and ongoing professional growth, and eager to make a meaningful impact?We are currently seeking a Nurse Educator to primarily support the General Medicine Wards at North Shore Hospital, with occasional collaboration alongside the Nurse Educator at Waitakere Hospital.You will be responsible to develop and deliver in-house nursing education programmes to prepare nursing staff, and other clinicians as appropriate, to meet Ministry of Health directives, service requirements, clinical safety priorities, evidence-based practice and new technology.You will also ensure that new graduates are appropriately supported in their areas of placement in collaboration with Charge Nurse managers, Nurse Educator NETP, and registered nurse preceptorsAbout the Team/Service/ LocationThis role is based at North Shore Hospital.About youTo be considered we will need the following:
  • New Zealand Registered Nurse, with a current Annual Practising Certificate
  • At least five years post registration acute nursing experience
  • Achieved RN Level 4 or equivalent with a current portfolio
  • Post-graduate certificate (working towards a post grad diploma)
