Are you ready to get started?Ngā Kōrero mo tēnei tūranga / About the roleJoin our Kirikiriroa / Hamilton Private Business team and play a vital role in managing client portfolios and delivering top-notch advice to a diverse range of clients. From handling accounting and tax compliance to offering finance function support, tax planning, financial modeling, and various advisory assignments, you'll be at the forefront of impactful work.Your roles and responsibilities may include:Provide technical advice on accounting and tax matters to a diverse client base.Lead organisations in identifying risk areas and sustainable planning opportunities across the tax life cycle.Prepare technical accounting and tax compliance work, including tax returns and statutory financial statements.Support clients' finance functions with tasks such as month-end reporting, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, financial modeling, board reporting, and process improvements.Engage in planning and executing multiple projects with precision and efficiency.Ngā pūkenga kei a koe / Skills and experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.2-4 years of experience in a CA environment or a Business Advisory role, demonstrating a solid foundation in accounting and finance.Proficiency in preparing tax and accounting compliance documents, including tax returns and financial statements.Familiarity with Xero software or similar accounting packages.Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and acute attention to detail.Ngā āhuatanga hirahira o te mahi ki PwC / Highlights of working at PwC NZUnrivalled level of access to industry expertise, both locally and through our wider global network of member firms, where you’ll be enabled by cutting-edge technology.We know working flexibly is important, which is why we offer a cash contribution to enable you to set up your home work space.Investing in your mental health is both important and personal.
