- BE or BSc Qualification
- 3 to 10 years' relevant experience
- Experience with TUFLOW and/or Infoworks ICM, and QGIS
- An understanding of stormwater catchment planning
- Strong interpersonal skills including ability to collaborate with clients to develop engineering solutions to flooding issues; including using sound judgement and experience
- Experience preparing project proposals
- You'll be self-motivated, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, an eye for detail, and will be savvy with Microsoft Suites and artificial intelligence tools.
- Undertake analysis and design for various projects
- Develop computational hydraulic models (1D and 2D) for fluvial and urban engineering applications
- Undertake Flood Hazard Mapping and prepare Flood Risk Assessments to identify and understand catchment flooding issues
- Hydrological analysis and data analysis
- Drive high-quality engineering design and flood modelling analysis outputs
- You'll comply with Tonkin + Taylor Quality Assurance and Health and Safety Policies requirements
- Exposure to a variety of professional experts and projects; Tonkin + Taylor are involved in a number of large-scale alliance projects, as well as smaller community focused projects
