Our casual role covers leave for permanent Support Workers, providing a diverse range of experiences acute crisis and respite service. Join us today and broaden your skillset!In a respite service you would support guests with medication, provide a listening ear, support on sit activities, maintain a large home, cook, clean and host visiting clinical teams.The hours of work are irregular and offered when available. We operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.We currently have a high need to fill these shifts.Morning shift: 7:00am - 3:30pmAfternoon/ evening shift: 3:00pm - 11:30pmAwake night shifts: 11.00pm - 7.30am.The Team
You'll be reporting to the Team Coach and joining our Pathways Wellington team who all have the common purpose to support people experiencing mental illness.You | Mōu
You'll have a caring nature and the ability to work with people from a person-centred approach. You'll always work in a recovery focused way and have impeccable attention to detail. You will also need to have:
- A current full driver's licence
- A current first aid certificate or are you willing to obtain one
- For our respite services, applications must hold the New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 4 (NZCHW) or a recognised equivalent, or currently studying towards this qualification or a recognised equivalent.
- Able to be flexible and available for varying shifts
- Knowledge of, and demonstrable commitment to, the principles of the Te Tiriti Waitangi.
