UC aims to deliver a workplace experience that puts staff at the centre of modern digital capabilities, supported by a new business solution that will become the backbone of our corporate services. The UC Workday project is the vehicle for enabling this transformation. In this role, you will develop and deliver targeted communications to support UC's Workday ERP project, focusing on impacted stakeholders. The role is responsible for working with internal clients to develop, implement and evaluate comprehensive communications strategies and activities that improve connectedness with staff and internal stakeholders.Mōu | Who You Are
You will have at least 5 years' experience in a senior level communications or change communications role, ideally working in delivery projects, and hold a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Communications, or related field , as well as have:
  • Proven experience in a similar role, either in a large organisation or a role in a related sector (e.g. education, research/science).
  • Outstanding communication, networking, influencing and relationship building skills
  • The ability to work well under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Evidence of strategic thinking
  • An alignment with our organisation's values and culture, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
Mahi Ngātahi | Who You Will Work With
You will be part of our Communications and Events team, though working day to day in the UC Workday project. While you will work in detail with the Digital, Finance, and People & Culture teams, this role is wide ranging, and you will work with people and teams across the University. You will report into the Director of Communications and Events, though day to day you will work closely with the Workday Strategic Change Manager.Ngā Painga o UC | Why UC
