About the RoleWorking in our Sports Maintenance team, you will be working closely with the Turf Manager to maintain and manage high quality facilities for Auckland's sports clubs. This will include general park maintenance, turf and grass establishment, line marking, cricket wicket preparation, irrigation, drainage and operating tools and machinery.Tasks and Responsibilities
  • General field and park maintenance.
  • Cricket Wicket preparation.
  • Turf and grass establishment.
  • Irrigation and drainage.
  • Assist in other projects as required.
About You
  • Experience in sports field and turf maintenance a must
  • Have a full NZ Drivers license.
  • Take pride in your work and are committed to consistently delivering quality workmanship.
  • Are physically fit and committed to getting the job done.
  • Have flexibility to work additional hours as the season requires.
  • Are reliable and always on time for work.
  • Energetic and self-motivated.
  • Hold qualifications in Turf Management a bonus
  • Hold a current Growsafe certificate would be a nice to have.
