Job DescriptionAbout the jobWe’re on the lookout for a motivated and detail oriented Weighbridge Operator to join our Tuakau Quarry team. This is a dynamic role that blends customer service, administration, health & safety, and operational support. If you thrive in a fast paced environment and enjoy being at the heart of the action, we want to hear from you!The successful person will manage and operate the weighbridge system and greet customers and visitors coming into the quarry. You will use your good people skills to build genuine and lasting relationships with our customers.This is a Monday – Friday 7am – 5pm full time role.Your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:Deal with customer orders and that all orders and enquiries are actioned correctly, courteously & efficiently by phone or over the counter.Weighbridge duties on a day to day basis.Procurement administration, dealing with suppliers rep/confirming services & pricing/gaining approval from manager to proceed with purchase/ issuing of PO to vendor.Accounts payable administration, following up with suppliers on monthly invoicing, accruing monthly costs on services and products received, receipting goods & services received.Manufacturing production reporting, support quarry manager on daily production reporting.Assisting with site induction and completing admin associated.Purchase Orders/Invoice processingMaintaining up to date business records and files, for employees, subcontractors, suppliers.Assist Quarry Manager to compile business reports, compliance reports as required.Experience and attributes;Full class 1 licenceExperience working within administration and/or weighbridge duties.Prior experience of processing accounts payable/receivables.Be a team player.Have a strong customer focus.Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Be self-motivated & driven to succeed.What we offerStevenson offers a range of fantastic REAL benefits to our employees, such as:Medical insurance for you and your whānauLife insuranceEnhanced parental leave policy supporting our people with new additions to the familyOnline digital Will writing serviceIncreased KiwiSaver employer contributions after service milestonesBP fuel discountsCareer progression opportunitiesOngoing training and development, with opportunity to gain qualifications.Excellent discounts at a wide range of retailersAccess to free confidential counselling and support services for you and your familyWe’re Stevenson (Fulton Hogan)Stevenson have a long history of successful quarrying, mining, supplying high quality specialist concrete and civil engineering laboratory testing.
