Our casual roles cover leave for permanent Support Workers, providing you with the opportunity to gain valuable experience across a range of our services (community mobile, respite, residential and recovery). Join us today and expand your skillset!This varied role could see you working on a variety of different tasks:When working in a respite service you would support guests with medication, provide a listening ear, support on sit activities, maintain a home, cook, clean and host visiting clinical teams.In our residential services you would be beside the supported person for tasks like appointments, shopping, cleaning and medication.In our community services you would undertake home based support that includes supporting people with household tasks, attending appointments, grocery shopping taking medication and exercise from home.You | MōuYou will have:
- A current full driver's licence
- A current first aid certificate or are you willing to obtain one
- For our respite services, applications must hold the New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW) or a recognised equivalent, or are currently studying towards this qualification or a recognised equivalent?
- Able to be flexible and available for varying shifts
