- Prepare, cook, and present meals to a high standard, ensuring portion control and quality.
- Manage stock ordering, receiving, rotation, and storage to minimise waste.
- Maintain hygiene and food safety standards across all kitchen areas.
- Support menu planning and catering for events, including special dietary and cultural needs.
- Hold an NZQA Level 4 Certificate in Cookery (or equivalent).
- Previous experience in a similar role, including staff supervision.
- A team player with strong communication skills and a flexible, can-do attitude.
- Physically fit, reliable, and committed to high standards of hygiene and safety.
- Able to pass a police clearance and pre-employment checks.
