As a Talent Development Partner, you'll play a key role in supporting KiwiRail's early career programmes. You'll lead our Graduate, Internship, and Gateway programmes, and support apprenticeships and other initiatives that grow our future workforce.You'll be responsible for:
  • Designing and delivering structured programmes for graduates, interns, and school leavers.
  • Supporting participants through inductions, development activities, and pastoral care.
  • Building strong relationships with schools, tertiary providers, and industry partners.
  • Coordinating events, training sessions, and mentoring networks.
  • Tracking progress, outcomes, and return on investment for talent initiatives.
This is a permanent role based in either Auckland or Wellington, with some travel required to support participants and events.Ngā pukenga e rapu nei mātou | What you will bringWe're looking for someone who is collaborative, organised, and committed to supporting others to succeed. You will bring:
  • Experience coordinating people development or training programmes.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and learning systems.
  • The ability to work flexibly, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing needs.
  • A customer-focused and safety-conscious approach.
It will also be helpful if you have:
  • Knowledge of learning and development practices.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and event coordination.
