In this hands on role, a day in the life could look like:● Cutting, trimming and packaging meat products as well as using different machinery● Interacting with customers helping them choose the best cuts of meat for their needs● Maintaining great presentation for the Butchery department● Sharing your knowledge by training and developing other team members● Championing Occupational Health and Safety and Food Safety practices to ensure a safe working environment for customers, staff and contractorsIn this role we are looking for our new Butcher to:● Hold a NZ Certificate in Trade Butchery● Have a willingness to start early and work on your feet for most of your shift● Be a strong communicator and effectively communicate with customers and team members● Regularly lifting up to 15kgs, bend, reach and complete repetitive movementsWhether we are giving Kiwi kids free fruit, giving to our local food banks and communities, reducing waste or celebrating diversity, we are committed to making Kiwi's lives a little better every day.If you are ready to share your passion with our team and customers click APPLY NOW!
