Over recent years we have been embarking on transformational change regarding how we offer unique experiences to domestic and international visitors. Originating from scenic train travel, we now offer Scenic Day Trips, Short Breaks & fully guided multi-day tours.We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Customer Service Representative on a Permanent, Part-time basis to join our team at the Strand station in Parnell.What you'll doAs a Customer Service Representative, not only will you provide exceptional customer service delivery to our passengers, you will also:
  • Open and close the Northern Explorer arrival area
  • Provide general travel advice and information to our guests and passengers
  • Assist with unloading luggage
  • Ensure customer's luggage is well looked after
  • Organise taxi services for travelling guests
  • Ensure pick up area is for authorised taxi services and vehicles
Hours for this role are set:
  • Wednesday - 3 hours (6:00PM-9:00PM)
  • Friday - 3 hours (6:00PM-9:00PM)
  • Sunday - 3 hours (6:00PM-9:00PM)
What you'll needWe are looking for people with exceptional customer service skills and a can-do attitude who are passionate about the service they deliver.To be successful in this role, you must:
  • Be able to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment
  • Have a strong customer focus with the ability to relate to people at all levels
  • Have a sense of urgency and work with speed and accuracy
  • Be a great problem solver
  • Maintain your composure and help keep passengers calm in potentially high stress situations
  • Have impeccable attention to detail and a talent for multi-tasking
  • Have exemplary communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have a moderate level of physical fitness as some lifting of passenger's luggage is required
