This position will be based in Auckland (Mt Wellington).The positionThe Project Manager - OB helps ensure the accurate and efficient allocation and deployment of internal and external technical resources to NEP New Zealand Outside Broadcast (“OB”) events.Key Responsibilities but not limited to:

Working collaboratively with NEP New Zealand Management, OB Services and Engineering Managers to ensure Outside Broadcast (“OB”) Technical resources meet client requirements.
Ensuring accurate and timely capture of costs associated with OB events in NEP New Zealand's job costing software program (“R2”), and present financial information to management in a clear and concise manner.
Supporting the overall smooth running of the Outside Broadcast office base.
Overseeing, in a Team Leader capacity, the smooth running of the OB Services team including Crew and Travel Co-ordinators.

Required skills and attributes:

Strong organisational and multitasking skills are essential, along with strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
Good understanding of how to organise people and resources efficiently.
Understanding of the commercial parameters each event needs to work to maximise NEP New Zealand commercial position.
Ability to liaise with a variety of 3rd Party suppliers to negotiate rates and efficient allocation of resources.
Experience as a Team Leader to be able to coordinate the work of the Crew and Travel Coordinator.
Excellent communication and team-oriented attitude with a dedication to quality.
Competent in the use of MS Word and Excel as well as the ability to learn new operational business systems.
Flexibility in time management is required due to the number of events taking place at weekends.
