DescriptionBrian Perry Civil is a leading and award-winning New Zealand specialist civil and foundations contractor. As part of the overall Fletcher Building Group, we undertake a wide range of challenging civil construction projects throughout New Zealand and the South Pacific with specialities including piling, retaining walls and ground improvement works.The roleWe have an opportunity for a strong Commercial Manager to join our Ground Engineering Auckland team, that has a minimum of 10 years' experience in the construction industry working in commercial roles, with at least 2 years as a Commercial Manager, responsible for leading a portfolio of projects, negotiating new contracts and managing a commercial team.You will be very familiar with reviewing & negotiating contracts, managing budgets, reviewing costs to completion, tender & programming reviews, progress claims & variations, cash flow forecasting, contract set up and reviews, project reporting, dispute/claim management and project close out. As well as your technical expertise, it is important that you can effectively lead your direct reports through positive means.About You

You will have a high level of interpersonal skills
Excellent written & verbal communication skills, including proficient computer skills
Detailed & thorough with the ability to develop solutions to problems
Excellent organisation & time management skills - deadline driven
Clear thinker, able to identify opportunities and align others to a common approach
Ability to achieve targets and goals
Have a customer leading focus
