Skilled Civil Labourers

- Perform general civil labouring duties including but not limited to trenching, concreting, formwork, exposing of services, spotting, compacting and pipe laying.
- Operate and maintain small plant safely and efficiently.
- Assist with the set-up and dismantling of work sites, including barriers and signage.
- Read and interpret construction plans and drawings under supervision.
- Support machinery operators and tradespeople as required.
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations and procedures.
- Report any site hazards or incidents to supervisors immediately.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work site.
- Proven experience as a civil labourer in roadworks, infrastructure, or civil construction projects.
- Knowledge of construction methods, tools, and materials.
- Ability to read and understand basic plans or instructions.
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual labour for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Additional tickets or licenses such as wheels, tracks and rollers & heavy traffic licences are highly desirable.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transport.
