  • Ensure strict adherence to Standard Operating processes and procedures.
  • Promote and support health and safety in the warehouse through a culture of health and safety.
  • Maintain and support security standards across all operational activities.
  • Deliver high-quality services that meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Lead and coach team members to improve performance, achieve career goals, and strengthen departmental capabilities.
  • Identify training and development needs and develop succession planning.
  • Foster a high-performance service culture.
  • Manage team performance through appraisals, absence management, disciplinary processes.
  • Promote a positive and engaging work environment through ongoing dialogue and support.
  • Support the Gateway Operations Manager in identifying opportunities for process, facility, and equipment improvements.
  • Coordinate shift operations to meet service demands with high quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other Duty Managers, Service Centres, Branches, and shifts to ensure seamless operations.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to operational issues and ensure continuity across shifts.
  • Analyse performance data to achieve strategic goals that reduce costs and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Hours of work will be Friday to Tuesday, 7:30am to 4:00pm including weekends. Must be available to work Saturday and Sunday.
YOUR PROFILE:Minimum of 3 years’ operational experience, preferably within the transportation or logistics industryProven 3 years’ experience in people management, with a strong ability to lead and develop teamsDemonstrated ability to hold individuals to the company employment policies and procedures with consistency and integrityStrong communication skills in English, both spoken and writtenExperience in people development and fostering a high-performance cultureTertiary qualifications are desirableOUR OFFER:Strong career support in an international environment.Great culture and colleagues.Multifarious benefit program.Do you see a personal challenge in these versatile and responsible tasks?
