Te kōwhiringa | The OpportunityThe Downer Wellington team needs a physically fit and motivated person to join our crew and lend a helping hand as a General Labourer within their Planned Maintenance team. This is an entry-level opportunity for people interested in civil infrastructure and roading.You will be involved in the general operation of machinery as well as day-to-day manual labouring duties. This could include:

Helping with safe site setup for your crew and the general public
Ensuring efficient use of materials, supplies and equipment
Working as part of a cohesive team to deliver to client requirements

Class 2 Licence and WTR required
Flexibility is desirable given you will be required to work shift work
Civil construction experience desirable
Enjoy working outdoors and keeping physically fit
Be reliable and hard working
