The Learning Designer plays a lead role in shaping and delivering high-quality learning experiences. This role supports the continuous improvement of ACC's learning ecosystem by designing learner-centric, practical, and scalable solutions that align with organisational goals and values.You'll collaborate with subject matter experts to translate technical content into accessible learning, apply instructional design best practices, and manage projects to deliver on time and to a high standard. You'll also contribute to specific programmes of work designing learning that supports change initiatives and helps bring the programme's impact to life.About you | Mōu
We're looking for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys experimenting with creative approaches to learning. You'll bring:
- Tertiary qualification in adult education, instructional design, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
- A tertiary qualification in education, instructional design, or a related field-or equivalent experience
- At least 5 years' experience in a similar role
- Proven ability to lead learning design projects and manage SME contributions
- Strong understanding of contemporary and emerging learning design practices
- Proficiency in e-learning tools (e.g., Articulate, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills
- A collaborative mindset and a passion for making learning relevant and impactful
- A demonstrated understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its application in learning design
- Are excited about the opportunity to work with a diverse team.
- Have experience in learning design, instructional design and a strong desire to learn and grow in this area.
- Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
