You'll be supported to do meaningful work that makes a real difference every day.Mō te tūranga | About the roleThis role sits within the Payment Platform Leadership Team and leads the foundational components of our platform, enabling a true "Payments as a Service" model. You'll be technically minded and internally focused, driving platform efficiency and strategic outcomes.Key responsibilities:
  • Build a deep understanding of internal customer needs and communicate the platform roadmap clearly to stakeholders.
  • Translate technical milestones into compelling, engaging stories that bring the roadmap to life.
  • Collaborate with internal customers to create and maintain well-groomed product backlogs.
  • Champion the platform's strategic vision across squads, guiding prioritisation and innovation throughout delivery.
Ngā mea kia whai angitū ahau | What You'll Need to SucceedYou'll ideally bring:
  • Proven experience in technical product ownership within an agile delivery environment.
  • A strong technical background, ideally in software development.
  • Commercial acumen to lead prioritisation conversations with stakeholders.
  • Understanding of the strategic and operational importance of lending platforms in banking.
  • Familiarity with digital lending technologies and platforms.
  • Knowledge of availability, resilience, and cyber security principles.
  • Awareness of modern technology paradigms including APIs, cloud infrastructure, event-driven architecture, and microservices.
