Randstad is working on behalf of a medium sized Planning, Engineering and Surveying Consultancy specialised in creating sustainable and innovative urban environments. Working on behalf of predominantly private clients, they take pride in shaping the future of Auckland and are looking for a Civil Engineer - Team Lead to join their team.The firm is experiencing strong growth and now looking to bring on an Intermediate Civil Engineer with the expectation to grow them into a Team Lead in the short to medium term as they continue to grow. This would make an excellent opportunity for someone looking to step up into a management role.Responsibilities

Start projects and see them through to completion, ensuring they are kept within the correct specification
Maintain relationships with clients and contractors
Manage and train direct reports as the team grows
Ensure correct health & safety practice is abided by all parties on site
Highlight defects and performance issues to directors
Ensure QA process is followed before design hand over

What you bring to the table

Civil Engineering Degree
Experienced with general civil design requirements
Experienced with working on site
Experienced with construction & contracting procedures
Competent with word, excel & google docs
