Our casual roles cover leave for permanent Support Workers in our bespoke service, supporting three guests on their own unique journeys. One of our guests requires specialised care due to complex physical and mental health needs, including wheelchair utilization and manual handling equipment.If you're eager to support whaiora on their path toward independence, we'd love to hear from you. - A current full New Zealand driver's licence
- A current first aid certificate or be willing to obtain one
- Hold the New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW) Level 4 or a recognised equivalent or be currently studying towards this qualification or a recognised equivalent. To check equivalency, go to
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills with a non-judgmental attitude
- Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Understanding of recovery-oriented practice and person-centred approaches
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
