- Plan, excavate, and install drainage systems including stormwater, wastewater, and sewer pipelines.
- Read and interpret civil drawings, plans, and specifications accurately.
- Operate specialised vehicles and machinery safely and efficiently.
- Coordinate with other civil trades to ensure seamless project completion.
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to drainage systems on-site.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety policies and procedures.
- NZ Certified Drainlayer qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years post-trade experience in civil works.
- Strong knowledge of civil construction processes and how drainage integrates with other trades.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
