See where your commitment could take you.Who are we looking for?We are seeking a qualified Finance Services Payroll Officer to assist in the administration of GHD's payroll systems and processes. This position will play an integral role in ensuring the accurate, timely, and cost-effective execution of payroll functions for GHD.This position offers a variety of work and will see you:
  • Partner with other GHD employees and stakeholders to respond to enquiries
  • Support the delivery of GHD Payroll Services and Payroll Improvement projects
  • Assist in preparation of all employee tax obligations and returns
  • Contribute to test plans, review of test outcomes with the Service Delivery and Operations teams, including delivery support
  • Support as required the preparation, investigation and management of ad hoc payroll reconciliations and monthly payroll balance sheet reconciliations.
To be successful in this role you will require the following:
  • Knowledge of payroll legislation and core payroll upstream and downstream processes
  • The ability to truly Business Partner with an agile and growth mindset
  • Effective communication skills across different internal stakeholders at all levels
  • Knowledge and experience of a HRIS and payroll system (ADP Global view) would be preferred but is not essential.
  • Experience in standard Microsoft Office applications with intermediate skills in Excel and Word applications
  • Aptitude for numerical work and problem solving with a high degree of detail and accuracy in all areas of work.
