
Financial Controller

- Act as a strategic partner to the senior leadership team by providing financial insights to support performance and drive long-term financial planning
- Partner closely with operational leaders, including a highly capable plant manager to track productivity, support and implement cost saving initiatives and drive performance
- Lead and manage the preparation of monthly rolling forecasts by working closely with the business
- Provide financial analysis to support local decision making and enable growth initiatives
- Lead and support the development of enterprise-wide key performance metrics to provide insights on opportunities for growth
- Provide insights & recommendations on optimising and growing product and portfolios, through strong understanding of costs, pricing and margin
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting to Group in line with group reporting obligations
- Develop, implement and enforce robust internal controls and procedures to ensure compliance with Group standards
- Responsible for ensuring tax compliance, including GST, income tax etc
- Lead the annual audit
- A proven finance leader with strong commercial nous and understanding of manufacturing processes
- A genuine desire to engage closely with senior leadership and other business leaders to effectively partner the business
- Strategic & visionary thinking with the ability to provide an advisory function to the business and translate this into breakthrough strategies
- Commercial finance experience within a manufacturing environment
- A high degree of emotional intelligence whereby you can positively influence those around you and confidently represent the local function
- Preferably experience working in a global business with an understanding of working in MNC's with global reporting deadlines
- A passion for what the business does and the products they produce
- The ability and desire to be hands on with the finance function whilst not losing site of the big picture
- Someone who is professionally driven and wants to continue to grow their career (there is a strong development pathway for the right individual)
