We are excited to announce our stunning, new 'boutique' 14 bed care suite facility at 7 Saint Vincent in Remuera, is scheduled to open in early October. We are seeking an experienced cleaner/laundry assistant to join our fabulous team.We have a permanent, part-time role available working the following shifts:Friday 9.30am to 1.30pm, Saturday 7am to 11am, Sunday and Monday 4.30pm to 11pm = 20hrs wk.You must be available to work both weekend days.We offer competitive hourly rates and allowances, along with great staff benefits, as well as an amazing team to work in!Some of the great things you will be doing:
- Provide exceptional cleaning support to our residents
- Working as a laundry assistant
- First responder - able to respond calmly to emergency call bells on the evening shifts
- Ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained
- Ensuring residents belongings are treated with respect
- Ensuring all heath guidelines are followed
We are looking for an experienced Cleaner /Laundry Assistant with the right attitude, excellent communication skills and who can work as part of our team to provide support in maintaining our care home to a high standard and provide First Responder support if required in the evenings.Some things that will support your application include:
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Good level of fitness
- Previous cleaning / laundry experience ideally in Aged Care is highly beneficial.
