The Opportunity:This fixed term role is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and hands-on finance professional to step into a Finance Business Partner role in a fast-paced FMCG business. Based in Christchurch and reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a critical role partnering across the sales and marketing teams of the business - turning data into insight and insight into action.About Dairyworks:Since 2001, Dairyworks has been a leader in New Zealand's branded dairy space, known for innovation, collaboration, and strong values. With a bold growth mindset and a supportive culture, we're looking for someone who thrives on being in the thick of the business and wants to make a tangible impact from day one.The Role:As the Finance Business Partner for Sales & Marketing, you'll work across multiple teams, using your strong analytical skills to extract and analyse financial data directly from Dairyworks systems. You'll be hands-on with the numbers - not just reviewing reports but building them yourself - providing trusted commercial support that informs business decisions.Key responsibilities include:

Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes for Sales & Marketing
Providing cost and margin analysis to support pricing decisions and business cases
Delivering clear financial presentations for internal stakeholders
Identifying opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency
Owning your part of the month-end close and reporting process

About You:You're not just a numbers person - you're a communicator, a problem solver, and a business partner. You'll be comfortable pulling your own data and getting stuck into the operational detail. You enjoy working with people across all levels and teams, from Marketing to Production, and will be known for building strong, collaborative relationships.You'll have:

A strong foundation in management accounting or financial analysis
Proven experience in extracting your own data to support insight and decision-making
Excellent communication skills and the ability to simplify the complex
Previous exposure to FMCG or manufacturing (ideal but not essential)
