Job Description:About the roleWe're on the lookout for an experienced E&I Engineer who will be able to bring their Electrical and Instrumentation experience to provide core electrical maintenance services to our Pokeno manufacturing site. You will ensure that all our electrical components in our machinery, production lines, and facilities function efficiently and safely to maximise productivity.This is a great opportunity that will allow you to expand your skills and enhance your technical and instrumentation knowledge. This position will be based in Pokeno and is currently has a rostered pattern, 4 days on, 4 days off.Key responsibilities of this role include.
  • Responsible for electrical reliability of production lines and services.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance of electrical systems to prevent failures.
  • Diagnose and repair faults promptly whilst providing guidance on electrical best practices.
  • Support manufacturing, working to scheduled preventative and corrective maintenance.
  • Reactive maintenance support to the site to minimise downtime.
  • Share your expertise and assist the wider business with RCA (root cause analysis) and BDE (breakdown elimination) processes.
  • Documenting work to maintenance procedures.
Skills and experienceYou will have good problem-solving skills, ability to gather information from multiple sources and use good judgement to determine the best solution. You will also have the following skills and attributes:
  • An Electrical Trade Certificate and a current Electrical Practicing Licence are essential.
  • Installation and maintenance of industrial electrical equipment and components.
  • Experience with PLC automation systems, and SCADA/HMI, with understanding of VSD's.
  • Experience in root cause analysis programmes.
  • Skills and understanding with process equipment instrumentation would be ideal however not essential.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues efficiently.
