As our Assistant Manager of Chilled and Frozen Foods, you'll have the opportunity to lead a dedicated team, enhance our product offerings, and deliver exceptional customer service-all while making a meaningful impact in your community.Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Chilled department
  • Assist the Chilled and Frozen Manager with all departmental needs
  • Ensure shelves are well-stocked, correctly rotated, and compliant with food safety standards
  • Support and supervise the team to ensure excellent service and outstanding product presentation
  • Follow store guidelines and procedures regarding health and safety
About You:To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • At least 1 year's experience with SAP Ordering
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in retail
  • A good understanding of financial KPIs
  • Strong communication skills across all levels of the organisation
  • Great attention to detail and the ability to take initiative
  • Excellent computer skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
Hours:
  • Full-time. 42.5 hours per week
  • Days and hours will be discussed during the interview
  • Must include one weekend day and early morning starts
