Bakery Manager

- Creating and overseeing the production list to ensure a full range of high-quality bakery products are baked daily
- Oversee the training and support of all team members
- Ordering and maintaining all essential bakery needs for creation and display of goods
- Implementing and ensuring food safety and health & safety standards are met
- Delivering exceptional customer service
- Ensuring all products are merchandised to a high standard
- Ensuring all bakery equipment is operated and maintained correctly and team members are trained to operate equipment safely
- Leading positive and supportive working relationships with and within the whole bakery team and the wider New World Kaikōura team.
- 2 years' experience as a baker plus equivalent to NZ Certificate in Baking
- Excellent communication skills to lead the team
- Must be able to show initiative
- Must be honest and reliable
- Must be physically fit as they will be on their feet all day
- Have a good sense of humour!
- Must have a positive approach to their day and have a 'can-do' attitude
- Have a passion for giving excellent customer service and going the extra mile for our customers
- Must enjoy early starts
- Must have great presentation skills and attention to detail
