Onestaff Invercargill is the leading supplier of temporary and permanent staff to a number of industrial-based clients in Southland.The CompanyOur client, a well-established and market leader in the end-to-end commercial aspect of the transport industry has a current vacancy for a service Foreman to join the team who specializes in the supply of after sales service to a range of well-known and prestigious brands of heavy transport vehicles.The JobReporting to the Branch Manager your role will involve being hands-on identifying & diagnosing mechanical issues using state-of-the-art diagnostic tools, conducting repairs & carrying out routine maintenance and servicing of vehicles as well as overseeing a team of diesel technicians and apprentices to ensure the workshop runs smoothy and that the highest level of customer service is provided. This role will provide variety and challenge with the ability to progress and upskill all whilst having the support of fellow colleagues and management.About YouThis position will require you to be an already experienced and Trade Qualified Heavy Diesel Technician with previous management or supervisory experience. Ideally you will hold a current Class 5 heavy traffic license, however assistance will be provided it its not held.
