We're looking for a Road Safety Education Coordinator to join our fantastic Transport Safety Team on a fixed-term contract. This is your chance to be the spark behind community programmes that make Auckland's streets safer for everyone.You'll have the chance to deliver powerful safety activities alongside incredible partners like NZ Police, schools, and community organisations. From lively workshops and hands-on training sessions to public events and roadside checkpoints, you'll be centre stage, connecting with Aucklanders about the issues that matter most. You'll also help support awesome cross-agency collaborations to turn our road safety vision into reality.Nā tāu rourou | What Will You Bring?We'd love you to bring your passion for people and safety, plus:
  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant field or equivalent industry experience
  • At least 3 years' experience delivering community safety initiatives
  • A flair for influencing and inspiring others to champion safety
  • Exceptional communication and people skills
  • Experience running workshops and planning memorable events
  • Confidence working with all sorts of people and organisations
  • Plenty of resilience and political savvy!
