About the role and who we are looking for:We are looking for Casual Catering Assistants to work at Nelson Hospital during afternoon/evening. Hours worked will be as and when required dependent on business needs.In this position, you will be responsible for:
  • assisting with basic food preparation
  • cooking and serving of the resident's meals
  • assisting with sandwich preparation
  • baking
  • ensuring all requests are dealt with in a professional and timely manner
  • general kitchen and cleaning duties
Ideal skills and experience you will have:If you're our ideal candidate, you will have a high attention to detail, be willing to go the extra mile and take pride and ownership of the role. You will have experience working in a similar environment and have a passion for working with the elderly.
