Transport has the potential to shape our city for the better - from the streets we live, work and spend time on, to the trains, bus services, cycle and walkways we use every day.Te whiwhinga mahi | The opportunityThe Commercial Contracts Manager is responsible for managing AT's Out of Home Media Services Agreement and related external revenue contracts to ensure commercial outcomes are delivered and protected.This role sits within the Out of Home (OOH) team in Media Partnerships & Experience, reporting directly to the Head of OOH Media and Partnerships and working alongside other specialist roles within a high performing team.The role focuses on:
  • Ensuring partner compliance with contractual obligations, including revenue, reporting, and service levels.
  • Managing contract variations, renewals, and updates to keep agreements commercially relevant and operationally sound.
  • Driving commercial negotiations and supporting dispute resolution where required.
  • Coordinating contract planning and payment processing in line with agreed schedules and performance metrics.
  • Supporting governance and audit processes, including KPI tracking and partner reporting.
  • Ensuring AT's interests are represented, and outcomes are measurable.
This is a commercially driven role that safeguards AT's media revenue strategy and ensures contracts deliver value, accountability, and transparency.Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?
  • 10+ years' experience in a contract management role.
  • 3 years' experience in the provision of advertising and media services.
  • Experience managing contracts in a political or complex organisation.
  • Experience managing relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Understanding of local government and/or understanding of transport sector (desired).
  • Relevant bachelor's degree in commerce, business, law or equivalent discipline.
