It's also the perfect base for exploring the stunning Catlins. BestStart Balclutha is a well-established centre, deeply connected to local whānau and tamariki. We also have several centres in Dunedin, just an hour's drive away, offering plenty of variety and opportunity.What You'll Do:

Support permanent teaching staff with daily routines and classroom activities
Care for and engage with our tamariki in meaningful and respectful ways
Bring energy, initiative, and a positive attitude to the learning environment
Enjoy the variety of working across different age groups and centre settings

What We're Looking For:

A genuine passion for working with young children
Dependable, flexible, and proactive team members
A caring and respectful approach to supporting children and colleagues
No formal ECE qualifications needed- just a willingness to learn and grow
