This role requires the supervision of a team, and therefore team or departmental supervision experience would be favourable; however full training is available to those who can demonstrate they have the right attributes to be successful in this role.Key responsibilities of the position include:

Supervising the receiving of stock and relevant processes
Management of animal welfare within the department
Reconciling the stock numbers and daily process figures
Communicating with other departments and key personnel to ensure efficient receipt and processing of stock

Making sure that all compliance and regulatory requirements are strictly adhered to
Training, developing and mentoring staff
Continuously improving standards and efficiency
Recording and processing documentation/departmental administration in an accurate and timely manner
Ensuring and driving Health and Safety compliance within the department.
Entering daily stock kill agenda’s accordingly into data system.
