- Provide expert diagnosis, treatment, and management of haematological conditions for patients in the Nelson Marlborough Region.
- Lead and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans and quality services to improve the health of the population in Nelson Marlborough.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research to advance haematological care.

- Have an FRACP with subspecialist training recognised by the Haematology Society or equivalent overseas qualification.
- Be eligible for an Annual Practising Certificate and vocational scope of Internal Medicine with the Medical Council of New Zealand.

- Be looking to work independently as a consultant Haematologist in a provincial hospital.
- Demonstrate experience in diagnosing and managing a wide range of haematological conditions.
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary team to promote a cohesive team culture of collaborative practice, openness, humour, and respect across disciplines.
- Demonstrate commitment to continuing professional development and quality improvement.
