We are looking for a skilled Drainlayer / Digger Operator to join our team in the South Waikato area. As a vital member of our construction team, you will be responsible for trenching, drainage, and operating diggers to support various civil infrastructure projects. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining and enhancing infrastructure across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a range of diggers and excavators for drainage and earthworks tasks.
  • Install and maintain drainage systems for both residential and commercial properties.
  • Dig trenches for drainage pipes and utilities, ensuring accurate alignment and levels.
  • Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the project team, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
Skills and Experience:
  • Proven experience as a Drainlayer or Digger Operator, with solid knowledge of excavation and drainage work.
  • Strong understanding of civil construction processes and safety regulations.
  • Experience with various machinery and plant equipment (WTR a must).
  • A positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
  • Full New Zealand driver's license and Class 2 is a must.
  • Drainlaying qualifications and digger operation tickets are advantageous.
