- Own and optimise AT's fibre network-ensuring it's resilient, scalable, and future-proof.
- Define and enforce fibre design standards across all projects and partners.
- Monitor network health and performance, escalating issues that impact critical systems like SCATS and CCTV.
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and public-sector partners to maximise fibre utilisation and reduce third-party costs.
- Support infrastructure projects with expert fibre input, from planning to integration.
- Lead documentation, mapping, and lifecycle planning of fibre assets.
- A degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, IT, or a related field.
- 5+ years' experience in fibre network planning, documentation, or operations.
- Proven ability to manage fibre design, asset documentation, and vendor relationships.
- Familiarity with network monitoring and fault management tools.
- Certifications like FOA CFOT or BICSI.
- Experience with GIS systems and asset management platforms.
- Knowledge of public-sector procurement and shared infrastructure strategies.
