Our client is a well-established Japanese business with a strong global network in the used vehicle sector. They are now launching their New Zealand presence and are seeking a motivated Sales Representative to build and grow relationships with used car dealers across Auckland and the Waikato.Reporting directly to the Sales & Operations Manager, this is a client-facing role focused on dealer visits, relationship management, and sales growth, with close collaboration with their Japanese Headquarters.The role
  • Visit and build relationships with local used car dealers
  • Conduct sales meetings, present vehicle options, and tailor proposals to client needs
  • Manage quotations, contracts, and delivery arrangements
  • Provide market insights on dealer demand, pricing, and competitor activity
  • Act as the key link between NZ dealers, the Auckland office, and Japan HQ
  • Support account management by ensuring strong customer service and follow-up
What we’re looking for
  • At least 2 years’ experience in B2B sales (automotive sector experience is highly advantageous)
  • Strong customer relationship and negotiation skills
  • Interest in automobiles or the used vehicle industry
  • Culturally adaptable with the ability to collaborate internationally
  • Competent with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and general reporting
