- Operational Efficiency: Implementing reviews of all warehouse operating procedures to ensure maximum efficiency and accuracy in daily operations. Undertaking required functions in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner. Always question, “What we can do better?”
- Team Leadership: Motivating, organizing, and leading the warehouse team to achieve optimal performance and productivity. Reviewing warehouse team members to ensure they fully understand and meet job requirements and expectations.
- Staffing and Security: Ensuring that the respective warehouses are staffed at agreed levels, ensuring the smooth flow of operations during the nightshift. Maintaining building security and security of assets and stock during night operations.
- Communication and Collaboration: Running team meetings when required to communicate goals, address concerns, an foster a sense of unity and purpose among team members. Promoting constructive and positive communication to strengthen functional relationships within the organization. Developing and maintaining working relationships between the nightshift team and other departments for seamless collaboration.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensuring timely and accurate picking of customer orders, prioritizing customer satisfaction. Ensuring efficient and safe loading of delivery vehicles to minimize operational risks. Ensuring on-time dispatch of delivery vehicles to meet customer delivery schedules.
- Health & Safety Champion: Being a champion for Health & Safety practices to maintain a safe and secure working environment.
- Significant experience in a warehouse environment.
- A desire to work nightshift and have flexibility.
- Experience in leading and motivating teams.
- Proficiency in operating a forklift and preferably having an OSH certificate.
- Ability to understand and pick up quickly different computer systems.
- Exceptional communication skills at all levels of business.
- Resilience with a positive can-do attitude.
- Self-driven and results-oriented.
- Attention to detail and a good problem solving mind

- Competitive starting package $80.000/pa - $90.000/pa with many value added benefits
