Your workplace will be the among the stunning scenery of Otago and South Canterbury, from Oamaru to Queenstown, the Mackenzie country to Dunedin.What's Involved:In this role, you'll be at the heart of our operations — taking charge of excavator work across a variety of key projects. From trenching and drainage to general earthworks, your skills will make a real difference on-site and support the success of our projects across the region.Key Responsibilities:
  • Operating excavators and other plant machinery (loaders, rollers, etc.)
  • Supporting site crews with day-to-day construction tasks
  • Maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency
  • Contributing to key projects and regional development
  • Taking opportunities for development, including potential leadership growth
What We're Looking For:
  • Proven experience operating excavators in a civil construction setting
  • Class 4 licence with W, T, R endorsements (preferred)
  • Skills in drainage, roading, or general earthworks are a plus
  • A strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
  • A motivated team player who's reliable and ready to step up
  • A commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards is essential.
