- Night Allowance of 1.25 of ordinary rate if ordinary hours fall between00:00 to 05:00
- Support senior chefs in operating kitchen sections, ensuring food quality, presentation, and preparation meet established standards.
- Organise and manage assigned sections efficiently while maintaining flexibility across all kitchen areas.
- Prepare and cook food orders, including staff meals, with urgency and consistency, while following hygiene and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, monitor stock, control wastage, and follow standard recipes for cost efficiency.
- Assist with menu planning, cost estimation, supply ordering, and enforcing food safety and hygiene standards.
- At least 18 months' experience in a similar role (preferably 5-star) with a Level 4 National Certificate in Professional Cookery.
- Physically fit, able to work long shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required by business needs.
- Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills, projecting a professional image at all times.
- Willingness to learn, undertake further development, and support training of staff.
- Resilient under pressure, maintains effective stress management, and builds rapport easily.
