We’re seeking a professional highly motivated Electrician to join our progressive team in Trade Services/Ratonga Mahi-ā-Rehe, who ensure the University of Otago buildings and utilities continue to be safe environments for our student and staff community.The role/Te mahiThis is not just another job, this is a career that’s rich in variety, purpose and professional growth. Carry out electrical installations, maintenance, and upgrades across campus.
Collaborate with other trades and contractors to deliver quality work safely and efficiently.
Help ensure compliance with electrical standards and University requirements.

Your skills and experience/Kā pūkeka me kā wheako

NZ Registered Electrician with a current practicing license.
Proven experience in commercial or institutional electrical work.
Ability to read plans, troubleshoot systems, and work independently or in a team.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to evolving technologies and industry practices.
A proactive attitude and commitment to health and safety.
