My client is on the hunt for a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead the opening of their newest bakery in Auckland. With a strong brand and growing customer demand, this is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a store from the ground up-and grow with it.About the Role
This is more than just a Store Manager role. You'll be the face of the bakery, responsible for setting the tone, building the team, and delivering an exceptional retail experience.
  • 30 hours to start with a path to full-time as the store grows
  • Weekend work is essential to start.
  • Full autonomy over daily operations-but support is close by, with our nearby production kitchen and NPD (new product development) team.
Key Responsibilities
  • Run the store like it's your own - from stock and inventory management to POS operations.
  • Manage the store roster.
  • Maintain high standards of presentation, product rotation, and customer service.
  • Move fast and stay organised - our products are fast-moving, and our customers expect the best.
  • Liaise with the wider team on product feedback and performance.
What We're Looking For
  • Retail management experience is a must - ideally in fast-moving consumer goods.
  • Someone who's not afraid to get stuck in, take ownership, and lead from the front.
  • Strong communication skills and a confident, engaging personality.
  • A keen eye for detail and pride in delivering a polished, premium store experience.
  • Able to work independently.
