ARE YOU LOOKING FOR THAT NEXT STEP IN YOUR CAREER?Due to growth in the company, we have an opportunity for an Accounting Clerk to join our Accounts team. This opportunity is a permanent full-time position based out of our Head Office in Pukekohe.About the role:
  • Correspond with branch administrators to reconcile & notify regarding daily bank deposits.
  • Review daily deposit uploads from branches.
  • Post refund transactions.
  • Post cash settlements.
  • Reconcile accounts to daily statements. Correspond with Credit Department to resolve issues.
  • Post journal entries for specific transactions from Credit department.
  • Monitor cash over or short for large variances.
  • Assist the accounting team with journals and reconciliations.
  • Other duties as required.
Qualifications/ Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar position
  • Basic accounting knowledge
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • The ability to meet strict deadlines.
