We support hundreds of New Zealand businesses including iconic brands like BNZ, 2degrees and Resene, working across all industries.The opportunityWe are looking for a confident and detail-oriented marketing and events professional to lead the delivery of Toitū's event programme. You'll play a vital role in creating meaningful connections with our certified clients, partners, and wider community through impactful experiences that celebrates their achievements and shares our expertise. As part of our marketing team, your work will support Toitū's client experience, thought leadership, and business development goals.This role is full-time and based in our Auckland office, with occasional travel required for event delivery.   • Develop and manage an annual event programme that delivers strategic results.
  • Manage logistics, budgets, suppliers, stakeholders and brand collateral of events.
  • End-to-end delivery of in-person and online events, including promotion.
  • Forge strong internal relationships and support Toitū's team with their wider speaking opportunities.
  • Enhance the Toitū brand through event asset creation (e.g. presentations, banners and EDM's).
  • Support the marketing team as required to deliver on our strategic priorities.
  • Write compelling copy to promote Toitū in the market.
  • Coordinate our client survey, capture and analyse feedback (incl. NPS)
  • Hold knowledge on climate claims best practices and support our clients in making credible claims.
  • Manage marketing enquires.

  • 3+ year's event management and project management experience
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in marketing, events or similar
  • Proven track record delivering events to meet strategic objectives
  • Experience making technical information accessible and engaging
  • Proficient in Adobe Design Suite or similar, especially InDesign and Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Exceptional multitasking skills, with an attention to detail
  • Experience producing annual feedback surveys
  • Good all-round marketing and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong soft skills, experienced people person
Preferred
  • Experience using Canva, Mailchimp, and Salesforce
  • Familiarity with marketing performance metrics (e.g. NPS)
  • Experience in sustainability, climate, or professional services sectors
