Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOpportunity to strategically drive end-to-end business value in the Category teamFlexible work arrangement – 3 days in office, 2 days remoteLocation: Newmarket, AucklandUnlock Your Potential as a Senior Analyst Category Customer at Kraft Heinz!The Senior Category Customer Analyst is responsible for executing the Kraft Heinz category strategy at the customer level across Australia and New Zealand. By understanding our customers, their strategies and priorities, this role supports the Category Customer Manager to bridge the Marketing and Sales teams to align on 18month strategic plans. This role will support the Category Customer Manager on Must Win/Grow categories to effectively deliver compelling range reviews and strategic initiatives, fostering strong partnerships with retail customers. They will also be responsible for leading category customer activities on Balance/Protect categoriesThe CompanyThe Kraft Heinz Company is one of the largest food and beverage companies in the world, with eight $1 billion+ brands and global sales of approximately $25 billion. These beloved products include condiments and sauces, cheese and dairy, meals, meats, refreshment beverages, coffee, infant and nutrition products, and numerous other grocery products in a portfolio of more than 200 legacy and emerging brands.Key position responsibilities include, but not limited to:Strategic PlanningSupport the Category Customer Manager with process and analysis for formation of Joint Business and Joint Category plansAligning KH and Customer strategies and activities over 18 month horizonsCategory PlanningDetailed knowledge and understanding of the performance by retailer for the categories Kraft Heinz participates in, with primary focus on Balance/Protect CategoriesSupport the risks and opportunities process by developing and monitoring retailer-oriented plans through cross-functional initiatives, collaborating with Finance to close gaps against the plan,Complete monthly review of market share and scan for internal routines and planningRange ReviewsSupport the objective setting and R&O process for Must Win/Grow range reviewsSupport the development of stories and sell-in for customer-facing workshops and range reviews in partnership with Sales, Category Revenue, and Category Development.Consult on customer target setting for new product launches, including distribution and margin assumptionsIdentify risks and develop retailer-oriented plans, ensuring effective communication of category strategies and assumptions with sales, marketing, and demand planning teams.Support the formation of deletion defense stories to ensure optimal range review outcomes, aligned with category strategies and retailer objectives.Support with customer planning, focusing on segmentation, ranging gaps, and promotional activation.InsightsCollaborate with Category Development and Marketing teams to make ranging category decisions to support Kraft Heinz strategic objectives.Develop and leverage tools, processes, insights, and systems capabilities related to range, shelf layout, and distribution performance.About you:Quantium, Circana or Dunnhumby experienceAdvanced Excel and Power PointAccount management experience advantageousPromotion and/or range modellingSystems knowledge a plus: Nielsen/IRI Scan/Panel (e.g. Temple, UNIFY), Demantra, JDA, Tableau, Quantium, DunnhumbyStrong commercial acumen ideally through direct experience in Sales or Category managementCustomer facing experience to presenting insights and category dataStrong interpersonal and presentation skills to influence and sell recommendations internally and externallyBenefits of working with usHybrid Working – Flexibility around when and where you workPay for Performance – industry leading variable compensation offerings tied to company and individual performance on top of a competitive base salary packageLeave Options – Purchased leave, volunteer leave and LiveWell leave programs to give you even more flexibility to plan your life and spend time on causes that matterGreat Place to Work certification in Australia and New ZealandIn House Training ProgramsCorporate Discount ProgramsReady to make an Impact?If you're a results-driven procurement professional, a collaborative team player, and passionate about delivering value, we want to hear from you.
