This position involves working in either the inpatient or outpatient setting with a range of age groups at Southland Hospital. This role requires the ability to work effectively and autonomously in a fast-paced environment. An understanding of optimising patient outcomes is essential.Mō te tūranga | About the roleAssess and treat patients with physical conditions, injuries, or disabilities, utilising therapeutic techniques and exercises to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance overall functional abilities within the hospital setting.Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and contribute to patients' overall well-being.Develop with senior mentors in either Dunedin or Invercargill.Mōu ake | About you
  • Enthusiastic team player who is keen to grow their knowledge and skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a proactive approach towards learning.
  • Registration with the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand and holding a current APC.
